# Month balance

Looking at a month's balance of working times, we display multiple values. These are as follows:

| **Recorded times**    | `144h00`      | Recorded total working times for the month                                                            |
| **Subtotal**          | `+32h00`      | Target time (expected working time) for the month minus recorded times                                |
| **Balance (month)**   | `+22h00`      | Subtotal after applying overtime regulation (e.g. 10h/month compensated: deducting 10h from subtotal) |
| **Balance (overall)** | `+16h20`      | Carried over balance including previous months                                                        |
